DRUG & ALCOHOL SCREENING
In our laboratories the initial screening of samples for alcohol and drugs of abuse is performed under specially optimised conditions applicable to the monitoring situations using a highly sensitive and specific technique known as enzyme immunoassay(EIA).
A minimum laboratory screen designed to comply with the regulations laid down in U.S. legislation would include alcohol, cannabinoids, cocaine metabolites, opiates and phencyclidine. The client may choose which substances are included in a drug profile, This may also include e.g. amphetamines, benzodiazepines, LSD and methadone.
